During cold seasons it is recommended to release the water so that ice would not damage the wood tub. In winter moist in the air is sufficient, therefore the tub will not dry out, and if necessary you will be able to pour water without any trouble. If you do not use the tub, it is recommended to cover it. This will prevent accidents in respect of children and will protect from litter falling in the tub. If the tub has been without water for a long time and the wood has severely overdried, it may be necessary to pull stiffening belts.
